How does it know I'm panic-shopping?
It combines rising palm moisture with a tightening grip pattern that spikes specifically after 5pm. That combo reliably predicts impulse buying before you notice it yourself.
Does it work on any grocery cart?
It clamps onto standard cart handle bars found in most major grocery chains. A travel strap version works for baskets too.
How does the fridge photo work?
PalmPause syncs with a fridge camera you already own or add separately, pulling the most recent interior shot on demand. No new camera hardware is required from us.
What counts as an 'apology workout'?
It's any workout you log in the app within 48 hours of a flagged impulse purchase. The algorithm uses those five most recent entries to price your regret cost.
Is my grip and sweat data private?
All biometric readings are processed on-device and never leave your phone without your export. We don't sell shopping mood data, ever.
Will the red lights embarrass me in public?
The LED strip is subtle and angled toward you, not other shoppers. You'll notice it; the person next to you in the chip aisle won't.
