Halt Leash

One tug ahead of regret.

Halt senses your dog's hesitation and auto-tugs before they eat sidewalk mystery meat. Never yell "drop it" at a chicken bone again.

The old way

Your dog is faster than you.

  • By the time you notice the sniffing, the chicken bone is already halfway down their throat.
  • Yelling "drop it" mid-swallow rarely works and just stresses out both of you.
  • You never know if that random sidewalk object is dangerous until you're already at the emergency vet.
The new way

Halt gets there first.

  • Sensors catch the hesitation before the bite, giving you a full second head start.
  • A calibrated auto-tug redirects your dog without a shouting match.
  • A crowd-sourced photo ID tells you what it was before it becomes a problem.

Built different.

Sniff & Torque Sensors
👃

Sniff & Torque Sensors

Dual sensors read sniff intensity and neck-torque spikes to catch the half-second before your dog commits.

Regret Probability Engine
📊

Regret Probability Engine

A risk score calculates the odds this bite ends in a vet visit, based on your dog's history since 2021.

Auto-Tug Correction
🎯

Auto-Tug Correction

A calibrated pull interrupts the bite with just enough resistance to redirect, not yank.

📸

Mystery Object ID Chat

A photo of the unidentified object fires instantly to a local group chat of other leash owners for crowd-sourced ID.

🏥

Vet Record Sync

Imports your dog's veterinary visit log so the leash learns which snacks have actually cost you money.

Good questions.

How does it know what my dog is about to eat?

It doesn't identify the object — it detects the physical signs your dog is about to eat something, then flags it for humans to identify.

Is my vet's data safe?

Records sync locally to calculate risk and are never shared in the group chat or sold. Only you see the underlying history.

Will the tug hurt my dog?

No, the pull is calibrated to your dog's size and stops the moment their head turns away. It's a redirect, not a correction.

Does the group chat show my location?

It shows a general neighborhood radius, never your exact address or live GPS. You control visibility in settings.

Does it work without cell service?

Sensing and auto-tug work fully offline; the photo ID chat sends once you're back in range.

What if my dog has no vet history in the app?

Halt starts with a default risk baseline and sharpens it as you log visits over time.

Be first in line.
